Getting Your Students to Think Outside the Box

Session Description
Getting our students to think outside the box is not an easy task. Inside the box there is safety, familiarity, and less work. In this session I will be sharing with the participants my 20+ years of experience as a certified adventure trainer and college professor in using fun exercises both online and face-to-face in the learning process. I will share with you several activities that will increase student satisfaction, engagement, and retention. You’ll be participating in some of the shorter exercises during the class.

There will be a handout with directions for all the games included so that the participants can try them out and see how they work in getting their students to think outside the box.
