A Distance Education K-12 Public School for This Generation: Shaping the Future at the Myron B Thompson Academy-Jerelyn Watanabe

Session Description
Myron B Thompson Academy is a charter school established in 2001 in the state of Hawai’i. The school’s vision is to create an Innovative, student-centered learning environment that provides equity, access and excellence for learners anywhere, anytime. Our student population is from various islands in the state of Hawai’i. The presenter will share the opportunities and challenges in providing K-12 online education in Hawai’i.
